My name is Ahmed Nabli. I have been an occupational therapist since 2010, and I am the co-founder and CTO of Remotion, a digital rehabilitation company. This blog is where I share, every week, what I learn where clinical practice meets technology.
Why this blog?
Artificial intelligence is reaching our practice much faster than our training. Many healthcare professionals tell me the same thing: there is a lot of noise, very little practical content, and almost nothing written by clinicians for clinicians.
This blog is my answer. No miracle promises, no unnecessary jargon: methods you can try in your next session, with their limits stated clearly.
What you will find here
A new article every Tuesday, around five themes:
- AI in daily practice: useful prompts, report writing, visual supports for patients.
- Building your own tools: therapy games and small apps made with AI (Vibe Coding), without being a developer.
- Immersive technologies: virtual reality, motion capture, serious games and tele-rehabilitation.
- Ethics and data: GDPR, confidentiality, and how to never expose your patients’ data.
- The future of the profession: what AI changes, and what it will not replace.
I will also share apps built with Vibe Coding: real therapy tools made with AI that you can try, adapt and use in your own practice.
And every Thursday, a short AI tip on LinkedIn.
Three languages, one community
Every article is published in French, English and Arabic. I work between Tunisia and France, with colleagues across North Africa, Europe and the Gulf, and serious content on AI in rehabilitation is still rare, especially in Arabic. You can switch language at any time at the top of the page.
Who am I?
I started as an occupational therapist working with children, including children with autism and other developmental needs, in early-years and inclusive education settings. Very quickly, I wanted to build the tools I was missing in my sessions.
- 2010: Applied Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (ESSTST, Tunis).
- 2011–2022: co-founder and CTO of Next Gen Corp, education technology and therapeutic tools.
- Since 2021: co-founder, occupational therapist and consultant at Leader Rehabilitation Center, Tunisia.
- Since 2023: co-founder and CTO of Remotion, which combines virtual reality, motion capture, serious games and AI to support therapists.
- 2024–2025: Executive Master’s in e-Health (INeS, France).
Today I also train occupational therapists and rehabilitation professionals to use AI in a practical and responsible way.
What I believe: AI assists, the therapist decides
Technology is only valuable when it serves clinical reasoning. A tool can suggest, measure, motivate and save time. The decision, the listening and the therapeutic relationship remain ours. I call this the augmented therapist, and it is the common thread of everything you will read here. My vision: every therapist should be able to build, with AI, the tools their patients need. That is why I will share here the apps I build, to show you it is possible.
Going further
If you want to start now, my online course Artificial Intelligence & Occupational Therapy (about 2h30 of video, an ebook, resources and a certificate) covers the basics step by step.
